New funding for ShareTrait

ShareTrait has received funding from the VU Open Access Innovation Funds (https://vu.nl/en/about-vu/divisions/university-library/more-about/vu-open-access-innovation-fund). This fund supports open, free and fair publishing alternatives, set up by and for researchers. We are grateful and happy that this will help continue to develop ShareTrait as a community resource.

Expansion of traits upcoming!

ShareTrait is working to expand the number of traits included in the database, together with the ESEB Special Topic network on thermal fertility (https://thermalfertilitynetworkeseb.wordpress.com/). The thermal fertility network has compiled meta-analytical data on thermal limits to fertility (Bretman et al., 2024; Dougherty et al., 2024) including survival, fertility, and developmental viability. Keep an eye out for our next release!
